Reporting to the Manager of Test Platform Services, you'll collaborate with energetic teams of Developers, Test Engineers, and Technical Product Managers to ensure we deliver high quality products.What You'll Get To Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development process to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Build and Enhance shared test automation frameworks, platforms, and tools used across the 'Strategy, Product, and Technology' department.
  • Lead and Guide in test automation execution, maintenance, and metrics analysis.
  • Promote Coding Standards and quality test creation with an emphasis on maintaining a robust continuous delivery pipeline.

  • Full-Stack Development: Help to build a cutting-edge internal platform that drives the analysis, reporting, and execution of automated test scripts. You'll also create sleek, high-performing UI components that power our dynamic user experience.
  • Be a Tech Pioneer: Explore and experiment with the latest technologies, creating proof-of-concepts that push boundaries. Your discoveries and recommendations will shape the future tech landscape across the entire Dayforce organization.
  • Architect the Future: Play a critical role in high-impact architectural design, advising and steering our most important technical decisions and influencing the strategic direction of our projects.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead the charge in driving continuous quality improvements, refining both our products and processes to reach new levels of performance and reliability.
  • Shape the Product Vision: Engage in key product discussions, offering expert advice and helping to define and shape the future product roadmap to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Power Continuous Delivery: Design and build solutions that empower our internal development teams to continuously test and deploy new code, ensuring a seamless and efficient pipeline from start to finish.
  • Collaborate and Elevate: Work closely with developers, test engineers, and stakeholders across SP&T to establish best-in-class standards and practices. Together, you'll build high-quality code and robust, maintainable test automation that raises the bar for software excellence.
Skills And Experience We Value
  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise software development
  • Expert experience with JavaScript and React with GraphQL for front end development
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure/AWS and Terraform
  • Robust knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and development
  • Solid experience with Object Oriented Programming using C# or Java
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Docker Containers and Azure DevOps CI/CD automation
  • Highly skilled with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including agile software development
  • A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning
What Would Really Make You Stand Out
  • Experience with machine learning and/or AI development.
  • Experience with contract testing, service virtualization, and in-memory databases utilized for testing microservices.
  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes
