Position Overview

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Director, Engineering to be part of the leadership in our wallet team. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and execution of our wallet solutions, leveraging blockchain technology to create secure, scalable, and user-friendly products based on state-of-the-art MPC technology. You will be at the forefront of wallet innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge blockchain solutions.

In this position, you will oversee the development and implementation of advanced blockchain wallet features, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and technological advancements. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a talented team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Your Impact

  • Lead and Innovate: Direct the strategic development of blockchain wallet technologies, driving innovation to enhance user experience and security.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of blockchain wallet features, ensuring scalability, security, and usability.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to integrate wallet solutions with broader blockchain initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and decision-making support in blockchain architecture, protocols, and best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize wallet performance, implementing improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all wallet solutions comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements, safeguarding user assets and data.
  • Strategic Vision: Contribute to the overall blockchain strategy, identifying new opportunities and technologies to enhance our wallet offerings.

Role Requirements
  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with significant experience in software development, software architecture, and blockchain technologies.
  • Blockchain Expertise: Proven experience with blockchain technologies, particularly in the development and management of wallet solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, with a track record of delivering successful blockchain projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, with a deep understanding of blockchain architecture and protocols.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Innovation Mindset: Passion for exploring new technologies and driving continuous improvement.

  • Experience with Wallet Technologies: Familiarity with various wallet solutions, including custodial and non-custodial wallets.
