Reno Orthopedic Center wants you to join the team as an Advanced Practice Provider for our Pre-Anesthesia Surgical Screening (PASS) Clinic! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team member to deliver health services including evaluation, monitoring, diagnostics, treatment and clearance for anesthesia and surgery at our Main Location – 555 N. Arlington Ave.
What would you do in this role?
You’ll play a key role in pre‑anesthesiology screening through our PASS clinic, reviewing charts, labs, imaging, and consults to determine surgical readiness and clear patients for anesthesia, using the anesthesia team’s pre-determined protocol. In partnership with the CMA Pre‑Admit Technicians, you’ll help streamline pre‑admission workflows by identifying required labs or diagnostics, providing pre‑operative education, coordinating clearances, and ensuring charts are complete and accurate. You become an essential clinical force—improving access, elevating patient outcomes, and keeping the orthopedic service line running with precision and compassion.
A Day in the Life
Note: This is an in-office, 5-day per week role.
Minimum Qualification
Active Nevada professional license with no license restrictions (PA-C or APRN). Nurse Practitioners must be certified to see patients of all ages (FNP).
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience performing pre-operative evaluations or anesthesia clearance, including reviewing diagnostics, assessing surgical readiness, coordinating specialty clearances and supporting pre-admission workflows.
