We are looking for: Senior Backend Developer (Java & Microservices)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and microservices-based architectures.
• Build scalable solutions within fully containerized environments running on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components with frontend elements built in React.
• Optimize system performance, stability, and security across backend services.
• Contribute to code reviews, best-practice definition, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Mandatory:
• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Proven experience working with microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes deployments.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Some frontend experience, ideally with React.
• Advanced English level (able to work in international environments).
• Availability to work onsite 3 days per week (Madrid city center).

Nice to Have:
• Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling.
• Additional knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in financial or highly regulated environments.
• Certifications in Java, Kubernetes, Cloud, or related technologies.
