Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a full time Receiver at our Home and Building (HABS) location in The Pas, MB.

What you’ll do:

The successful candidate is responsible for delivering world-class customer service, receiving and unloading trucks, maintaining accurate records and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Core duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Unload, sort, and organize products in designated warehouse or storage areas.
• Record and update stock information in inventory management systems.
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to the appropriate team.
• Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Support other departments as required, including shipping and inventory management.

• Follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures

Who you are: 

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
• Highly motivated and have the ability to multi-task.
• Manual/heavy labour (up to 50lbs) on a repetitive and regular basis.
• Previous warehouse or receiving experience would be an asset.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
