Currently, we are looking to add a Legal Assistant to our Claims Verification team to assist the Attorney to evaluate and develop less established pre-litigation cases. We have amazing training and support, so while legal experience is preferred, it is not required.

Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Be the voice and face of the firm, interacting with our clients and other parties daily.
• Serve as the client's primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with the Attorney to identify potential avenues to build out individual cases.
• Contact the authorities, medical facilities, and insurance companies to verify and collect needed information surrounding cases.
• Make regular status calls to the client with the goal of checking on their treatment status and/or updating them on the case.
• Ensure timely and appropriate progression of the client's case by setting deadline reminders, collecting the necessary evidence for the case, and collaborating with the appropriate team if a case is deemed appropriate to transfer.
• Notifying the attorney of any case-related developments or problems.
• Keeping detailed and accurate notes of all case-related interactions and tasks in the client management system.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year of Legal Assistant experience.
