Material Tracker and Recovery Specialists are responsible for monitoring and managing the flow of materials while maintaining visibility and positive control of more than $100 Million worth of critical aircraft parts annually. They track the location and movement of parts from the creation of the purchase order through shipment and delivery to the aircraft work center. They recover unused parts and unserviceable component parts and are responsible for the reverse logistics of the parts. Material Tracker and Recovery Specialist closely collaborate with aircraft mechanics, vendors, maintenance personal, and fixed base operations throughout the world.
• Utilize inventory management software to track part movements, including issuance, returns, and transfers.
• Arrange transportation for returned items to appropriate facilities, including managing shipping labels and carriers.
• Accurately record material movements, including transfers between locations, usage, and outgoing and incoming shipments, within the inventory management system.
• Execute reverse logistics operations to maintain the circular flow of materials, ensuring that return requests, shipping and delivery, and dispositioning are synchronized as components of a continuously supply chain
• Process returns in the ERP system and provide shipping instructions and documentation to the Service Hub Warehouses

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with mechanics and vendors
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Experience with inventory management systems, ecommerce, and web-based platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
