Senior Product Designer

Location: Remote from Colombia

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll embed within our client’s team to lead the end-to-end design of innovative, user-centered digital products. You’ll guide the design process, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with executive stakeholders to shape product direction and deliver experiences that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design initiatives, including discovery, ideation, prototyping, validation, and iteration
  • Partner with business leaders, product managers, and developers to define product vision and translate it into compelling design strategies
  • Facilitate workshops, user research, and stakeholder alignment sessions to uncover insights and maintain a user-centered focus
  • Design innovative, scalable UI/UX solutions that elevate the brand and provide a competitive advantage
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and consistency across platforms
  • Integrate solutions with existing design systems, component libraries, and scalable UI patterns
  • Advocate for design best practices and embed user-centered design principles within the client organization
  • Mentor junior designers and provide actionable feedback throughout the design process
  • Present and justify design approaches to executive stakeholders, communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and remote teams to move designs from concept through implementation
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in product design and UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership across large or complex digital products
  • Proven experience leading design projects from concept through implementation
  • Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, visual communication, prototyping, and usability validation
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Sketch
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution
  • Experience designing web applications or e-commerce products preferred
  • Experience working in enterprise or complex product environments preferred
  • Knowledge of design systems, component libraries, accessibility standards, and scalable UI patterns preferred
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and React preferred
  • Experience embedding within client or remote teams for extended periods preferred
