Description
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team for the months of July and August. In this pivotal role, they will serve as the anchor for our marketing initiatives, gaining hands-on experience by analyzing competitive brand positioning, product strategies, pricing models, and service offerings across social media, digital platforms, and physical branch locations. Beyond market analysis, they will play a key role in operational success by facilitating team meetings, coordinating schedules, and documenting essential conference reports and action items to ensure alignment on our key objectives.
What you Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Analyze Competitor Positioning: Evaluate rival brand positioning, product strategies, and service offerings to see how they stack up against our own.
- Conduct Multi-Channel Research: Audit market trends and competitor activity across social media networks, digital platforms, and physical branch locations.
- Track Pricing Models: Research and analyze industry pricing structures to help inform our ongoing marketing initiatives.
Team Operations & Coordination
- Anchor Initiatives: Act as a support for the marketing team, helping drive key projects forward during July and August.
- Facilitate Meetings: Play an operational role by coordinating schedules and facilitating team meetings.
- Document Action Items: Draft essential conference reports and document key action items to ensure the entire team remains aligned on core objectives.
Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a closely related field.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a part-time internship schedule for the duration of July and August.
- Digital Literacy: Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and digital marketing tools.
- Software Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace) for scheduling and documentation.

- Analytical Mindset: A strong interest in market research, with the ability to observe and note trends in competitor pricing, product strategies, and brand positioning.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and keep projects on track.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically for drafting clear conference reports, meeting minutes, and actionable next steps.
- Proactive & Dynamic: A self-starter attitude with the ability to serve as an "anchor" for team initiatives and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Local Presence: Ability to travel to physical branch locations if required for field analysis.
Salary Range: $16 - $20 per hour
