Job Description

The Manager, 3PPP Due Diligence Operations role in India will oversee quality control, ensuring prospective and existing partners receive the appropriate level of due diligence and that operations meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven feedback loops from sample testing to improve operational processes and support compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Partner with the DDO Frameworks and Tooling team to strengthen controls and drive process improvements through automation and GenAI.

  • Facilitate the due diligence process for prospective partners, working closely with business development teams to ensure consistency and perform quality checks.

  • Conduct accurate and timely due diligence refreshes for existing partners in line with the frequency defined by each partner’s risk level.

  • Assess prospect and partner risk based on due diligence information provided and recommend risk mitigation actions as required.

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, including Compliance and Financial Crime teams, to ensure timely input from all relevant stakeholders.

  • Engage proactively with partners to secure the appropriate documentation and ensure timely, accurate responses to follow-ups.

  • Ensure partner communications are clear and concise, outlining exactly what is required, timelines, and the consequences of non-adherence; ensure internal communications to Partner Managers are equally clear.

Qualifications

  • Experience improving processes and scaling operations through automation, GenAI, and analytics is preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risk triggers and evaluate risk pillars effectively

  • Experience in Risk and Remediation, Customer Due Diligence or Compliance within regulated financial services environments preferred

  • Understanding of due diligence methodologies, industry guidelines such as FATF and JMLSG, and applicable regulatory frameworks

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Results-oriented and self-driven, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced GMNS environment

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience creating PowerPoint presentations and explaining complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally

  • Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and meet strict deadlines

  • University Degree or equivalent

  • Familiarity with tools like LexisNexis Bankers Almanac and Dow Jones
