We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join the Super Technologies team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our real-time sports betting software. Working closely with Integration Engineers, Product, and Software Engineers, you will own and drive QA processes that directly impact the experience of tens of thousands of users every day.
What the role involves
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Build and maintain robust test plans for new and existing features, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy
- Lead cross-team testing efforts for complex, multi-faceted projects, ensuring alignment and timely delivery
- Collaborate with Integration Engineers, Product, and Software Engineers to define, implement, and continuously refine QA standards and best practices
- Coordinate and execute releases, maintaining close communication with stakeholders throughout
- Participate in setting up testing tooling and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance product quality and development workflows
- Maintain and update documentation with recent discoveries and testing outcomes
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in manual testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
- Strong skills in creating detailed test cases and developing test plans using tools such as Xray or other test management systems
- Familiarity with task management tools such as Jira for collaboration and project tracking
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Strong time management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Proactive communicator who understands stakeholder needs and engages with them to clarify details
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications
- Experience with the Microsoft tech stack (.NET, WPF, Blazor)
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright or equivalent)
- Ability to read and comprehend code to understand underlying logic
- Experience with networking
- Familiarity with slot machines
- Experience with Linux
