Job Description

We are operating a program within the telecom domain. Within this program 50 person will work in Pune. Employment of personnel is currently ongoing.

We are searching for the local program delivery site manager within this program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the Program operation in Pune, the deliveries success or failure.
  • Proactively work very closely together with the Program Operational Product Owners securing customer interaction and backlog items.
  • Take higher level customer discussions
  • With a sharp focus on modern practices and development tools ensure that the operation in Pune is efficient.
  • Together with Pune line management foster a good working environment and culture at the office.
  • Overseeing the business case for the assignment in Pune incl recruitment needs.
  • Drive proactive proposals to improve the products and the program
  • Guide team members in development practices and ensure delivery of high-quality code and products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams sharing code base and CI team to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and technical excellence.
  • Member of the program core delivery management team steering the whole program.

Qualifications

Required Qualification skills

  • Strong management experience of several development teams simultaneously in an agile environment.
  • Previous embedded development experience, preferably within C/C++ and/or FPGA development.
  • Experience within telecom mobile radio base station development and/or 3GPP radio architecture.
  • Deep experience from customer interaction to gather needs and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Expect min 10 years experience.

Nice to have qualifications

  • Worked in Sweden or with Swedish companies and by that understanding work culture
  • Besides embedded development knowledge also have understanding for DevOps, automated CI flows and cloud
  • Masters degree or higher
