Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance tasks including repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption.
- Ensure maintenance supplies and tools are organized and properly maintained.
- Collaborate with facilities management and external contractors to complete projects effectively.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or emergency call-outs if needed.
