The Role
Based in Le Chable, Valais, CH | Full time (100%) | From 1 Jul. 2026 until 30 Apr. 2027
We’re looking for an eCommerce Operations Intern to join our DTC team and support the day-to-day execution of our eCommerce business across multiple brands and markets.
This is a hands-on internship for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and interested in hour an eCommerce business runs day to day.
With the support of your manager and the wider eCommerce team, you will help keep our websites accurate, up to date and ready for key launches, campaigns and commercial moments. You will support product setup, site updates, merchandising implementation, QA checks, localisation, reporting and general eCommerce operations.
This role suits someone early in their career who wants to learn about digital commerce, site operations, merchandising and DTC execution in a fast-moving outdoor sports business.
Site operations and product setup:
- Support the day-to-day running of our eCommerce sites across brands and markets
- Help with product setup, page updates, collection maintenance, catalogue structure and general back-end site administration. You'll help keep our sites clear, accurate and operationally ready.
Site operations and product setup:
- Assist with digital merchandising updates in line with priorities set by the eCommerce team
- Support product launches, campaign pages, promotional setup, homepage updates, collection visibility and key seasonal moments
- Help ensure the right products, messages and campaign assets are reflected correctly on site
QA and customer experience checks
- Carry out QA checks on product pages, site updates, campaign changes, promotional mechanics and customer-facing journeys
- Test updates before launch, check for errors or inconsistencies and flag issues clearly to the wider team
- Help make sure the customer experience is smooth across devices, markets and site journeys
Localisation and content coordination
- Support translation and localisation updates across markets and languages
- Help ensure localised content, pricing, promotions and customer-facing information are correctly reflected across different territories
Reporting and operational support
- Support routine reports, trackers and operational updates for the eComm team
- Help maintain visibility around launches, promotions, site tasks and key execution points
Cross-functional coordination
- Work closely with the eComm team as well as Marketing, CX and Operations where site updates, launches or customer-facing changes require alignment
- Support a lean, fast-moving team by helping ensure day-to-day execution is accurate, timely and well organised
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is reliable, curious and careful with detail.
You should bring:
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- An interest in eCommerce, digital operations and online merchandising
- Confidence working with and learning digital tools, especially Shopify, Shopify apps and related eCommerce tools
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and lookups
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Looker, or a willingness to learn
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
- A structured, dependable and proactive way of working
- Good problem-spotting skills and the confidence to flag issues clearly
- The ability to manage multiple tasks carefully and follow through
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with different teams
- Awareness of the importance of accuracy across different markets, currencies and languages
- Fluent written and spoken English
Previous internship, part-time or project experience in eCommerce is a plus, but not essential
