Description
As a Commercial Sales Lead HR Business Partner, you will be a strategic partner to revenue-generating teams, aligning people strategy with sales goals to drive growth, productivity, and talent management. The HRBP will be a trusted partner collaborating with leadership and fellow HR teammates to provide strategic HR consultation critical to driving business value and creating a best-in-class employee experience in a manner consistent with the company’s mission and values. The team you will be a part of:
The HR Business Partner team implements the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops, and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Evaluates the organization's future workforce needs to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs. Partners with leaders on workforce forecasting, utilizing data analytics to project future headcount, talent needs, and capability gaps.
This can be a hybrid position - onsite with one day/week remote, plus quarterly national travel to support Sales meetings and other functions.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
- Navigate complex organizational dynamics and influence decision-making to drive HR initiatives
- Business acumen and overall curiosity of the business
- Lead HR initiatives/Projects and partner with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
- Leverage data analytics for decision making and sustaining organizational health
- Partner with the department leaders to build engaged and high performing teams
- Foster a change management mindset, while driving strategic projects both within the production facilities and corporate/home office business units
- Encourage people and culture practices that promote retention of key talent
- Lead culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with talent review and succession planning process that identifies top talent, mitigates talent gaps, and builds leadership capabilities
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal, state, and local HR-related requirements; conduct investigations; maintain appropriate written records; and capably represent the organization at hearings
Required Skills and Experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or MBA
- S/PHR and/or SHRM S/CP Certification
- Certification in Gallup Q12 or CliftonStrengths
- Leader experience in a different functional area
- Experience utilizing productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Knowledge of, and experience with, HR systems including payroll, timekeeping, etc.
