Description
We’re looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to help keep our Press Room running smoothly. You’ll move materials, products, tools, and containers within the production area while maintaining safety and accuracy. This is a hands-on role that supports multiple departments, making it ideal for team-oriented individuals who enjoy an active work environment.
Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (+$3.50/hour shift differential)
Pay: Starting at $19.25/hour to $20.25/hr base rate depending on experience.
Duties
- Operate forklifts to move materials, products, and tools.
- Retrieve and deliver press tools, assisting with setup when needed.
- Weigh parts and scrap accurately and document as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate clearly with machine operators, leads, and supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6month of forklift experience required
- Ability to work safely, maintain focus, and make independent decisions regarding container substitutions and placement
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift
- Ability to lift, pull, or move tools or scrap bins as needed
- Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
