Clinical Coordinator - Work with First Responders
Schedule: M-F, 7;30am-4pm
Pay Rate: $29/hr
The IAFF Center of Excellence is a first-of-its-kind rehabilitation center designed especially for and by firefighters. The 64-bed facility, located on 15 acres just outside Washington, DC, gives these fire fighters and first responders the opportunity to receive treatment among peers, led by clinicians who have experience working with these professionals.
The IAFF Center of Excellence is part of Advanced Recovery Systems, an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. We put behavioral health front and center, providing assistance to people with substance abuse issues, addictions and mental health concerns.

Requirements
The Clinical Coordinator will complete supportive tasks for the clinical department and Center of Excellence to manage the provision of clinical services.
The Clinical Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth coordination of clinical services. This role assists with scheduling, documentation tracking, and communication among clinical staff and other departments. The Clinical Coordinator helps maintain organized patient records, supports compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements, and facilitates the flow of information related to daily clinical operations. Working under the direction of clinical leadership, this position contributes to an efficient, well-coordinated care environment by handling routine administrative tasks and supporting the overall functioning of the clinical team.
CORE JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain strict client confidentiality.
- Responsible for demonstrating a positive image of Advanced Recovery Systems and the IAFF Center of Excellence.
- Distribute and administer surveys with active patients at admission and discharge, providing guidance on the survey's purpose and process.
- Obtain needed consents.
- Cross-train within Clinical Department to provide assistance as needed, including case management and administrative tasks.
- Assist in development of team scheduling and client rosters for groups.
- Make copies/send faxes as needed
- Conduct telephone conversations in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintains clear communications with supervisors and co-workers.
- Follows all policy and procedures of Advanced Recovery Systems.
- Enter survey and phone contact information into patient record.
- Report any high distress or safety risks to the facility Clinical Director.
- Attend and document daily Treatment Team.
OTHER REQUIRED DUTIES:
- Demonstrate good strategic and problem-solving skills

Requirements:
EDUCATION:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Behavioral Health Field preferred. Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a treatment setting, substance abuse/recovery agency preferred.
