Routing and Quality Control Specialist Best Mexican Foods presso Legacy Food Group

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires knowledge of truck routing, computer knowledge, and warehouse compliance. This role is Sunday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 2:30 am. No relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Use our routing software to create the most efficient routes for our drivers the night before they deliver
• Ensure all customers are on a route for accurate delivery
• Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work with warehouse to ensure processes and procedures are up to compliance

Ability to Commute:

• Chester, NY 10918 (Required)

Pay: 

• From $25.00 per hour

Requirements

• Fleet Routing Experience: 1 year (Required)
• Available to work nights shift / overnight shift (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills is a MUST
• Ability to read a map
• Familiarity with transportation planning concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of lean principles and transportation management systems is an asset.
• Excellent research skills for effective data collection and analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
