Role Overview: FP&A Manager
We are seeking a hands-on FP&A Manager to own, run, and continuously improve the company’s core financial planning and reporting processes. This role is focused on execution excellence: delivering accurate forecasts, structured budgets, and clear performance insights that support day-to-day operational decisions.
This role has end-to-end accountability for budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis in a fast-scaling, investor-backed environment. Beyond reporting historical results, you will actively use financial insight, BI tools, analytical systems, and automation to improve how teams allocate resources, measure performance, and drive outcomes. Your work will directly support the VP Finance and leadership team by translating business activity into financial outcomes.
As a core finance partner to department leads, you will track spend against budget, highlight risks and opportunities, and ensure accountability in resource allocation. You will be expected to bring structure, discipline, and clarity to financial performance management.
While this is a Manager-level role, it is execution-heavy and hands-on. Success in this position means delivering reliable numbers, improving financial visibility, building scalable planning processes, and leveraging data visualization and BI reporting tools to support continued growth.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Drive the annual budgeting process
- Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Maintain the 3–5 year integrated financial model
- Develop scenario planning (growth, downside, strategic cases)
- Build headcount and cash flow forecasts
Business Partnering
- Partner with other functions
- Support hiring plans and resource allocation decisions
- Provide variance analysis and actionable insights
- Improve accountability through budget tracking
Performance & KPI Reporting
- Develop, maintain and enhance BI-based reporting & KPI dashboards
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, CAC, LTV, burn, and runway
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages
- Support preparation of Board materials
- Improve planning & reporting automation, dashboard design, and data quality in a scaling environment
Strategic & Ad Hoc
- Evaluate pricing changes and new initiatives
- Conduct ROI and unit economics analysis
- Contribute to systems improvements (ERP, planning tools and BI/reporting infrastructure)
- Support the broader Finance team in various projects
Requirements
Experience
- 4–8 years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting
- Experience in high-growth or VC-backed environments preferred
- Strong financial modeling experience
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) and BI and data visualization tools (e.g. Metabase)
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear dashboards and decision-ready insights
- Experience with planning tools a plus
- Strong data manipulation skills
