Pay: $25.00/Hour (Depending on Experience)

Join Our Team as a Steel Shipping Lead!

We're seeking a hands-on leader to oversee steel movement in a fast-paced fabrication shop. If you're organized, safety-focused, and experienced in material handling, this is your opportunity to take charge and make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead & Coordinate: Direct daily steel movement, staging, and shop logistics.
  • Operate Equipment: Use cranes and forklifts to load, unload, and relocate materials.
  • Manage Inventory: Track incoming/outgoing materials and maintain accurate records.
  • Mentor the Team: Train staff on rigging techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure Safety: Promote a safe work environment and maintain a clean, organized shop.

    • What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in steel or industrial material handling (leadership experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in crane and forklift operation (certifications preferred).
  • Basic rigging knowledge and the ability to read fabrication drawings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
