Position Summary
The Employee Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and professional transportation for team members both on property and to designated off property locations. This role supports daily resort operations by ensuring employees arrive at their assigned work areas efficiently and safely. Employee Shuttle Drivers operate with the same high standards of professionalism, safety, and consistency expected throughout the Guest Services Department. While the primary passengers are team members, drivers are expected to represent the resort with integrity, reliability, and respect always.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Transportation
- Safely transport team members along designated on property routes
- Provide transportation to approved off property locations as scheduled
- Maintain consistent loop timing and route structure
- Ensure safe boarding and unloading procedures at all stops
- Operate vehicles in full compliance with traffic laws and company safety standards
- Conduct pre shift and post shift vehicle inspections
- Maintain awareness in pedestrian areas and employee housing zones
- Report mechanical concerns, incidents, or safety issues immediately
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and Guest Services leadership
- Use assigned radios and communication equipment during each shift
- Follow established shuttle routes and operational flow guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized shuttle interior and exterior
- Ensure appropriate fuel levels are maintained
- Support department standards for vehicle readiness and operational efficiency
- Adhere to department uniform and grooming standards
- Promote respectful and professional interactions among team members
- Always uphold confidentiality and company policies

Qualifications
- Strong sense of responsibility and dependability
- Professional and respectful communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining route discipline and timing
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
- Read and write in English
- Communicate verbally with staff members with or without the use of two-way radios
- Give and follow verbal and written instructions
- Operate vehicles for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
