Role Overview
We’re seeking a Korean-speaking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide on-site psychiatric care to residents in Assisted Living / RCFE communities across the Los Angeles area. This role focuses on behavioral health management for seniors, working closely with facility staff and the broader care team to support mental health and quality of life.
What You’ll Do
- Psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Medication management for behavioral health conditions
- Management of depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other psychiatric conditions
- Coordination with facility staff, primary care providers, specialists, and families/POAs
- Documentation and care planning in compliance with CMS and regulatory requirements
Schedule & Setting
Part-time; weekday blocks preferred.
On-site visits to assisted living communities across the Los Angeles area.
Requirements
Active California NP & RN licenses
Board certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Active furnishing license, NPI, DEA, BLS
Fluency in Korean required to support Korean-speaking residents
Experience in geriatrics, behavioral health, or facility-based care preferred
EMR proficiency
Benefits
Compensation
Annualized compensation range: $100,000 – $126,000 based on experience, schedule, and patient volume
Additional earning opportunities available based on coverage and panel needs
W-2 with benefits available; mileage reimbursed per policy
