We are seeking a Senior KYC / Onboarding Analyst to work with a leading alternative investments firm in this client-facing role, where you will be leading and assisting with everything relating to the KYC and onboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new client onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all onboarding deliverables.
- Provide end-to-end oversight of the onboarding process across multiple clients, independent of product type and in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Review and interpret client legal, financial, and entity documentation to support onboarding approvals.
- Lead client-facing onboarding discussions, providing clear status updates and proactively managing risks or issues.
- Identify process gaps or inefficiencies within onboarding workflows and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams (Operations, Legal, Compliance, Technology) to ensure smooth onboarding execution.
- Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for a Junior Analyst supporting onboarding activities.
- Support long-term client relationships by delivering a controlled and efficient onboarding experience.
- Rapidly develop expertise in internal systems, tools, and client-specific onboarding requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a KYC / Onboarding role, ideally within Financial Services
- Familiarity with KYC constitutional documents and onboarding processes
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Basic understanding of financial services and investment management operations
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and process improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively with both senior and junior team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills preferred
Benefits
Salary: up to $65k
Length: 12+ months, view to extension or permanent contract
