Shipping Supervisor presso Prestage

Description

Specific Duties:

1.       Develop team of hourly employees to meet customers’ requirements on quality, on time delivery and order fill rate.

2.      Promote a safe and secure work environment for all stakeholders;

3.      Insure product and processes meet or exceed regulatory requirements of set from time to time by USDA, foreign governments OSHA, DOT, Homeland Security;

4.      Maintain accurate real time, daily, weekly and monthly inventories of WIP,

Finished goods and packaging inventories;

5.       Maintain process controls to insure all HACCP requirements are met prior to shipment;

6.      Insure all shipping documentation is accurate, factual and complete;

7.      Track and verify attendance daily with the Time and Attendance Clerk; maintain accurate attendance and vacation records for payroll processing.    

8.   Participate with the Shipping Manager to set production schedules that will maximize margin over processing as related to efficiencies in the blast freezing, shuttle and labor utilization processes.

9. Other duties as requested from time to time by the Shipping Manager

Requirements

GED (minimum); Associates, degree preferred. Bilingual preferred but not required
