The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery to ensure optimal functionality for our clients. As a key member of our team, you’ll perform field service calls, conduct preventative maintenance, and assist in machine installations, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on CNC machines in the field and at customer sites.
  • Repair and replace defective parts, motors, and electrical components.
  • Calibrate CNC machines to ensure accuracy and proper operation.
  • Provide on-site maintenance services, including routine inspections and adjustments.
  • Install new machines and systems, ensuring all components are functional.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service needs and provide clear explanations of work performed.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Stay current with the latest CNC technologies and repair techniques to improve efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machine repair or a similar field.
  • Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues on CNC machines.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
