We're looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. Someone who works fast, sweats the details, and makes the kind of creative that gets noticed.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design bold, strategic creative across digital, social, web, print, and broadcast.
- Build logos, campaign identities, and brand systems that feel intentional and cohesive
- Create high-performing digital ads, landing pages, email graphics, decks, and presentation materials that are clear, persuasive, and visually dialed in.
- Translate messaging and strategy into compelling visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with account teams, video editors, producers, to develop integrated campaign creative.
- Prepare and package final files - understanding specs, placements, and technical requirements.
- Manage multiple active tasks at once while maintaining speed, organization, and attention to detail.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and thoughtfully without losing creative integrity.
- Maintain clean file structures, consistent naming conventions, and organized asset libraries.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional design experience in an agency, campaign, advocacy, or similarly fast-paced creative environment.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong brand identity work, digital-first design thinking, and versatility across styles.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Working knowledge of After Effects a plus.
- Experience with Figma and Canva for web, collaborative design workflows, and quick-turn creative.
- Working knowledge of Google Slides for building and maintaining presentation decks.
- Strong understanding of typography, hierarchy, composition, and color.
- Ability to take strategic direction and translate it into sharp, persuasive visual execution.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Highly organized with disciplined file management habits.
- Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams.
- Position is based in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA; applicants must be willing and able to fulfill the role in person.
- Portfolio required. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
