Your Job:
Brooks is looking for a skilled Sr. Transportation Excellence Analyst to join Brooks Transportation team Seattle, WA as we enhance, update and implement transportation management systems and global processes. In this position, you will own documenting the E2E global transportation process and ensure new transportation use cases are supported by the right systems, partnerships, and processes. This role will build strategic goals through analysis of operational performance of our carrier partners to optimize costs and network performance. You will Interface with SC Excellence, IT, Market Supply Planning, Sourcing, Customer Service and other cross-functional teams to align Transportation processes, standards, and systems with broader Supply Chain & enterprise goals. You will support Transportation’s strategic network planning through partnerships with ocean, air, rail, and trucking carriers while collaborating with our Origin and Destination Network Operations Managers. You will collaborate with other subject matter experts to construct business cases with clearly defined requirements and financial analyses including calculated Returns on Investment (ROI). For those business cases that evolve into projects, you will represent
Transportation in the planning and analysis, design, testing and implementation phases. You may also assist with documenting business processes, business rules for data, and organizational roles and responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Inbound Transportation, Origin and Destination Network Operations Managers, and Transportation Director to define and document E2E Global Transportation roadmap.
Challenge transportation leaders to build a transportation network that best serves the Runner by delivering capacity, consistent lead times, at optimal costs.
Plan and lead RFPs and carrier rate negotiation analysis in partnership with Transportation Leadership.
Provide subject matter expertise on Brooks’ carrier strategy to the Origin and Destination Network Operations Team.
Lead collaboration with the Transportation team to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate opportunities and requirements for changes to business processes.
Build and foster relationships with Brooks’ carrier partners.
Own and drive the Inbound Transportation Management Maturity process to document as-is and tobe business processes to support the Transportation team’s maturity journey.
Construct business cases for projects with clearly defined requirements and financial analyses including calculated Returns on Investment (ROI).
In partnership with SC Excellence and IT teams, manage the testing process for Transportation projects including building use cases and test plans for integration and user acceptance testing, and leading user acceptance testing efforts.
Own identification of technology issues during day-to-day work and problems surfaced in testing and lead tracking and resolution.
Coordinate production and delivery of end-user training and materials as new processes and technologies are implemented.
Communicate and evangelize the introduction of new technology-enabled capabilities.
Contribute data and metrics and Transportation sustainability program information to support the Brooks Annual Sustainability Report by partnering with carrier partners to gather data
Identify opportunities for reducing carbon emissions in line with the Inbound Transportation and Brooks’ CSR team.
Facilitate meetings with agendas that include clearly defined outcomes; follow up on assigned action items and next steps
Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and in a timely manner to our external partners.
Present complex technical subjects and project status at appropriate detail for target audience (eg: executive vs. line-level).
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline, required. Master’s degree a plus.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or similar certification is desirable.
5 years working as a Business Analyst, or relevant experience performing business analyst activities including business case creation, requirements gathering, process modeling, or project management.
Experience working with ocean, air, and trucking carriers including rate negotiation, capacity analysis
Resourceful at conducting research into business issues and applicable technology solutions.
Experience implementing, updating and enhancing Purchase Order Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) a plus (e.g.: Manhattan/PkMS, JDA, RedPrairie, M3/Infor)
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or the footwear and apparel business, systems, and processes helpful.
Experience helping to define business requirements and to evaluate proposed solutions to meet those requirements.
Talent for analyzing and communicating alternatives, risks, and benefits with the goal of reaching decisions or resolving problems.
Experience working in a global environment with colleagues from different cultures.
Experience with various software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills, and the ability to persuade others.
Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
General understanding of application programming, database and system design.

Additional Information
Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $80,174.77 - $120,315.11 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
