Senior Azure Platform Engineer presso Appnovation Technologies

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Platform Engineer (Azure) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a Platform Engineer for a pro-code Agent Platform that serves a diverse group of colleagues—ranging from novice business analysts to expert data scientists and principal engineers. The role requires the ability to flex between technical engineering of the platform and hands-on working knowledge, creating cloud solutions and pro-code AI agent applications as a "Customer Zero". You will be an engineering and operations developer for an Azure-based platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and compliant for AI agents and data applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the design, engineering, security, compliance, and release management of the enterprise pro-code AI agent platform.
• Develop highly available, scalable, and reproducible Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for platform components and configurations.
• Implement robust controls across identity (RBAC), network (VNets/NSGs), and data protection aligned to regulatory standards.
• Operationalize Microsoft Foundry and related AI/ML services to enable agentic applications.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident response to optimize performance and cost.
• Manage global environments and self-service tenants while coordinating change governance.
• Collaborate with the platform team to maintain technical documentation and drive platform adoption.

What we are looking for

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience, with at least 1 year hands-on with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity).
• Demonstrated experience using Terraform (or equivalent IaC) and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming for automation using Python or Bash.
• Proven ability to implement cloud security best practices and compliance controls.
• Experience with agentic AI technologies such as Microsoft Foundry or Agent 365.
• Superior problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCPs, and agentic application patterns.
• Familiarity with telemetry and observability tools like OpenTelemetry or Langfuse.
• Background with big data and distributed systems (Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data/analytics services such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Dataiku.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
