As Test Site Fluid Systems Engineer at Destinus H2 Park, you take ownership of the full picture of gaseous and liquid supply and exhaust systems, from early design decisions to day to day operations. You work hands on with design and test teams, translating engineering intent into reliable, safe, and high performing test site systems. What You´ll Do

  • Lead design projects of gaseous and liquid supply and exhaust circuits for test site (industrial gases as helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and liquids as kerosene, cold hydrogen, and cold nitrogen)
  • Define fluid systems requirements from customers’ needs in consistence with other systems (mechanical integration, measurement and controls, safety)
  • Generate Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and justify the design choices considering applicable safety framework (including explosive atmosphere directives and cryogens risks)
  • Select the relevant components considering project constraints
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews
  • Manage suppliers for procurement, manufacturing, integration, and testing
  • Deliver technical documentation including design justification, commissioning plan, testing and operation procedures
  • Prepare and participate in integration of the components (possibly hands-on work)
  • Prepare, perform, and synthetize results from commissioning
  • Prepare and participate in test risk analysis and test preparation
  • Prepare, perform, and synthetize results from customer tests

Requirements

What You´ll Need

  • MSc. in fluid mechanics or process or aerospace engineering
  • +5 years of experience in a similar role related to fluid systems
  • Strong knowledge of the fluid process systems and components (valves, pressure regulators, sensors). Knowledge of Swagelok products is beneficial.
  • Good to have experience with hydrogen, explosive atmosphere regulations, and cryogenic fluids
  • Strong understanding of measurement and control systems
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, analytical and synthesis skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
  • Autonomy and problem-solving behaviour
  • Fluent in English as working language. French or German language is beneficial
