Description

At Churchfront, we believe technology—when paired with timeless truths—can unlock new potential in ministry. We're a national AVL integrator, media platform, and education resource serving churches across the United States. We design and install clear, reliable, and distraction-free systems, while equipping church teams through training content and educational resources that help them steward technology wisely and maximize their kingdom impact.

We're looking for a Procurement Manager to own the sourcing, pricing, and inventory operations that make our projects possible. This role is for someone who thrives on organization, pays attention to the details that matter, and understands that accurate budgeting and procurement directly impact our ability to serve churches well.

About the Role

The Procurement Manager is the backbone of our operations—responsible for maintaining accurate pricing data, purchasing equipment for projects, managing warehouse inventory, and ensuring project budgets stay on track. You'll work closely with design, project management, and installation teams to ensure the right equipment arrives at the right time and at the right price.

This is a detail-oriented, systems-driven role. You'll maintain our equipment catalog, create budgets alongside the design team, coordinate purchasing across multiple projects simultaneously, and keep real-time financial data flowing to project managers so they can make informed decisions in the field.

We don't just order parts—we steward resources. Every dollar spent on a project is a dollar a church invested in their ministry, and we take that seriously. Your accuracy, organization, and collaboration will directly impact our ability to deliver excellent systems on budget.

What You'll Be Doing

Price Catalog Management Maintain an organized, up-to-date catalog of pricing for all AV equipment, materials, and components. Build relationships with vendors and distributors to ensure competitive pricing. Track price changes, update records, and ensure the design and project teams always have accurate cost data to work from.

Budget Development & Design Collaboration Work closely with the design department to create accurate, detailed budgets for AVL projects. Review system designs, understand design intent, and translate technical specifications into material lists and cost estimates. Ensure budgets account for all necessary equipment, cabling, hardware, and materials before projects begin.

Purchasing & Procurement Execute purchasing for all project materials and equipment. Place orders, track shipments, coordinate delivery schedules, and resolve vendor issues. Ensure equipment arrives on time and matches project specifications. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate.

Inventory & Warehouse Management Oversee warehouse inventory and stock levels. Track what's on hand, what's allocated to projects, and what needs to be reordered. Implement and maintain organization systems that make it easy for installation teams to locate materials quickly. Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and efficient.

Project Budget Tracking & Collaboration Partner with project managers to maintain real-time data on orders and expenses for each job. Track what's been purchased, what's pending, and where each project stands against budget. Communicate proactively about cost variances or potential overruns. Ensure project managers have the financial visibility they need to make decisions in the field.

Process Improvement & Systems Thinking Identify inefficiencies in procurement workflows and propose solutions. Build systems that reduce errors, save time, and improve accuracy. Document processes so that purchasing, inventory, and budgeting operations run smoothly even when things get busy.

Who We're Looking For

This role is for someone who embodies ownership and takes pride in getting the details right. You're naturally organized, you think in systems, and you understand that procurement isn't just about placing orders—it's about enabling great work to happen.

You have a working knowledge of AV systems and can read through a design intent to understand what needs to be ordered. You're a team player who collaborates easily across departments and keeps communication clear. You know when to ask questions and when to solve problems independently.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Act like an owner and take full responsibility for your domain
  • Lead with humility—eager to learn, unafraid to ask questions, quick to shed pride
  • Value accuracy over speed—getting it right matters more than getting it done fast
  • Communicate proactively and follow through on commitments
  • Understand that budgets and stewardship matter deeply in ministry contexts
  • Care about the mission behind the work, not just the task list

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience
  • Experience managing pricing catalogs, vendor relationships, and inventory systems
  • Familiarity with AV equipment and systems (audio, video, lighting, control, cabling)
  • Ability to read technical documentation and understand design intent
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience collaborating with project managers, designers, or technical teams
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and tools
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets and databases
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Experience in the AVL integration industry
  • Background working with construction or installation projects
  • Knowledge of AV manufacturers, distributors, and vendor ecosystems
  • Experience with project budgeting and cost tracking
  • Familiarity with Notion, JobTread, and Vectorworks (or similar project management tools
  • Warehouse or logistics management experience

Location & Work Environment

This position is based in Melbourne, Florida, and is primarily an in-office/warehouse role. Occasional travel to project sites for site surveys or coordination may be required, but travel is minimal.
