What You’ll Do:

• Lead dynamic, fun, and educational flag football classes for elementary school students.
• Inspire and empower students to build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through physical activity.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Manage a group of students independently and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with Hokali staff and school partners.

We’re Actively Seeking Instructors with Experience In:

• Sports: Flag Football (coaching, physical education, or related experience preferred)

This position will work at the following elementary schools in San Jose:

• Gardner Elementary School
  502 Illinois Ave, San Jose, CA 95125
  Flag Football
  Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 2:30–3:30 PM and 3:30–4:30 PM
• Grant Elementary School
  470 Jackson St, San Jose, CA 95112
  Flag Football
  Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 2:30–3:30 PM and 3:30–4:30 PM

📆 Program Dates:

• Start Date: February 20, 2026
• End Date: April 10, 2026

💰 Pay Rate:
$50 per hour

📄 Position Type:
Part-time | W4 Contract

👧👦 Student Level:
Beginner – Elementary school students

Requirements

• Requirements:
• Experience coaching or instructing flag football, sports, or physical education.
• Experience working with children in a group setting (school, camps, after-school programs, etc.).
• Ability to lead a class independently and manage classroom behavior.
• Must be available:
• Tuesday–Thursday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Gardner Elementary School)
• Monday–Wednesday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Grant Elementary School)
