Job Description
EarthCam is seeking a Product Configuration Specialist to join our operations team. This role is responsible for configuring camera systems, performing quality control checks, and ensuring accurate documentation before systems are deployed.
This is a hands-on, process-driven role ideal for someone with prior technical or configuration experience who is comfortable working in a production-focused environment and managing multiple builds simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities
- Configure camera systems using proprietary software and internal tools
- Follow established processes to complete QC reviews on each system
- Capture detailed photos of camera builds for documentation and record-keeping
- Support multiple parallel configurations while meeting daily production targets
- Ensure all systems meet quality, accuracy, and performance standards
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate configuration or build issues to management
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration issues efficiently
Requirements

- Detail-oriented and comfortable working within structured technical processes
- Experienced in hands-on technical or configuration-based work
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Proactive in identifying issues and escalating when necessary
- Organized, reliable, and accountable for the quality of your work
- A strong communicator who works well within a team
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in IT, electronics configuration, hardware support, or a related technical role
- Prior experience using configuration software or technical systems
- Experience with technical documentation
- Familiarity with Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Data management or basic data analysis experience is a plus
