Overview

As a Senior Product Manager for the MAI Suggestions team within the STCI organization at Microsoft AI (MAI), you will own building innovative suggestion experiences and driving growth by leveraging intelligent suggestions. You will be responsible for defining and delivering new features, improving existing experiences, and identifying strategic opportunities to grow engagement and adoption across MAI products and surfaces across search, browsing and copilot. The role involves creating intuitive and delightful user experiences that serve as a critical entry point for users, helping them quickly find what they're looking for with minimal effort. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to understand customer needs, identify growth opportunities, and launch experiences that truly impact and enhance how millions of users interact with our intelligent systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product requirements and user stories for both new suggestions experiences and growth initiatives based on data, customer feedback, market research, and emerging technology trends.

• Drive growth strategies by identifying opportunities to expand suggestions adoption, increase engagement, and improve user retention across Microsoft products.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, research, and partner teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user expectations and business goals.

• Analyze and report on product performance, growth metrics, and user behavior using various tools and platforms, including user feedback, telemetry, and usage logs.

• Define and create metrics that baseline and measure the user experience, effectiveness of intelligent suggestions, and growth impact.

• Define and own evals (human + machine) for new AI experiences and products.

• Work closely with engineering and data science teams to evaluate models, review scorecards and experiments, and help shape the product direction.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and experimentation to validate product hypotheses, iterate on features, and optimize for growth.

• Ideate and design innovative, rich, and personalized experiences that improve each step of the user journey with intelligent suggestions.

• Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal stakeholders and partner teams across Microsoft AI.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development

• OR equivalent experience.

• Solid UX intuition and deep customer empathy with proven experience in consumer products and user research.

• Solid analytical skills and ability to use data to drive product decisions and measure impact.

• Understanding of modern AI technologies and their practical applications in building user-facing experiences.

• Customer-obsessed mindset and passion for creating intuitive, delightful user experiences.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
