Looking for an internship that builds real skills and makes an impact?
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for a full-time 8-week internship. In this position, you will support the Sr. Coordinator of High School Success with high school internship programming and other special projects. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining experience in programming operations.
This position is based in Shafter, CA with the possibility to travel to summer camp and internship sites as needed. The start date is June 15, 2026, and the schedule for this internship is onsite at our Shafter office, Mon-Fri (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). Pay Rate: $18.50/Hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with tracking intern hours, locations, supervisors, etc.
- Support Parent/Student orientation nights for internships at all participating schools
- Support with fellowship interview tracking
- Assist with data collection using Excel and input using Salesforce software
- Support career interest survey adoption across all high school students
- Create supports/research career readiness supports for Wonderful Ed staff to support high school students
- Work with various platforms (CA career zone, YouScience) to help create career readiness programming for high school students.
- Support workforce program development for Wonderful Ed high school graduates
- Help with Summer Camp projects and parent outreach
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be above the age of 18 and currently be eligible for the Wonderful Scholarship
- Must upload a resume, professional reference, and cover letter with your application
- Open to travel during the work week
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using Excel
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish
- Live Scan clearance
