Hospitality Health Quick Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Emporia, Virginia. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat minor illnesses and injuries in a timely manner.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform minor procedures as needed.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment plans, ensuring understanding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Virginia.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
  • National certification from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, urgent care or emergency care preferred.
  • Ability to perform minor surgical procedures and manage urgent medical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
