Description

We are on the lookout for a versatile and technically savvy application and automation developer who is well-versed in Power Platform technology, including Power Apps and Power Automate, as well as Power Fx coding languages or object-oriented programming languages. In this pivotal role, you'll harness the power of Power Apps to drive the digitization and enhancement of systems that gather, process, store, and visualize data, while also utilizing Power Automate workflows to streamline communications and execute Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes. Your contributions will impact systems relied upon by tens of thousands of users each year. This position emphasizes leveraging your expertise in Power Fx, programming languages, and computer science to foster diverse initiatives aimed at modernizing our systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of object-oriented programming languages, database architectures, ETL technologies, and Power Platform innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Power Platform (Code Language: Power Fx) or computer science skills to design, launch, and sustain digital applications that gather, process, store, and showcase data.
• Create, implement, and manage advanced automation workflow systems that extract, transform, and load data from outdated sources into modern databases like SQL while automating communication processes.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and engage clients to comprehend project requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Apply Power Platform or computer science skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues associated with digital Power Apps or Power Automate systems and their functionality within the DHS CBP environment.

Clearance:

• CBP Public Trust or DOD Top Secret or Treasury Public Trust (Candidates meeting the necessary requirements may be eligible for sponsorship for the CBP Public Trust clearance).

Requirements

Familiarity with or a background in computer science.

· Technical proficiency in object-oriented programming languages or familiarity with Power Apps and PowerFx coding language.

· Hands-on experience with Power Automate or ETL technologies.

· Strong consulting capabilities, including requirements gathering using MS Word, creating mockups with MS PowerPoint, and effective communication with clients.
