Preparation Plant Floor Walker presso Foresight Energy

Description

• Ensure company equipment, material, and work site are maintained, kept clean, and in compliance with company’s standard safety and operating procedures
• Responsible for safely performing the following duties:
• Floor Walker: performing mechanical inspections and repairs during production or maintenance shifts, identify process or mechanical issues through the plant, collect field measurements and checks to assist control room operators, navigate multiple floors of stairs to inspect and maintain equipment, identify and change failing or worn out components on plant and conveyor equipment, assist crew with minimizing and controlling downtime through communication and preventative maintenance
• Assist Plant Supervisors and electricians with all repair work in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking and many on the job training opportunities
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

Scheduled 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts from days to nights

Working at elevated heights are required as well as in tight work areas

Must be capable of navigating around the plant, up and down stairs as the job requires. (plant contains upwards of 200 stairs from top to bottom)

1. 1 year Preparation Plant experience preferred
2. Mechanic experience or belt conveyor experience
3. Cutting / welding and fabrication experience

Benefits

Compensation at an attractive hourly rate of $28.45.
