Description
We are seeking a Propellant & Energetics Engineer who will develop, mix, test and quality solid propellants includingAP based booster grains
Duties:
- Formulate and mix AP/HTPB Propellants
- Develop fuels for air-breathing combustors
- Perform rheology, cure kinetics,mechanical property testing
- Support casting trials, vacuum degassing, tooling development
- Manage lab safety, ATF/OSHA compliance, and traceability
Requirements
- B.S./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or Energetics.
- 3-10 years experience in solid propellant development
- Hands-on mixing/casting experience
- Knowledge of metal fuel combustion
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in ducted rocket fuels or metallized ramjet formulations
- Experience scaling bath size or optimizing cure cycles
