In this role of Procurement Specialist, the individual is expected to be an effective listener, communicator, and problem-solver, balancing the needs and requirements of the program with high customer obsession. The responsibilities include (but are not limited to) supporting Procure to Pay activities including:
• Purchase Requisition (PR) creation
• Purchase Order modification
• Supplier onboarding
• Fund additions
• PR audits
• Invoice reviews and defect corrections
• Communicating with stakeholders and Procurement Managers across the globe
• Supporting time-critical projects
The specialist will assist the Global AWS IPS Infrastructure Planning and Services by performing various procurement tasks on a daily basis, managing both Pre-Contract activities (supplier onboarding, etc.) and Post-Contract activities (Purchase Request creation, Purchase Order modifications, supplier communication, etc.).
Core Responsibilities:
• Handle the day-to-day volumes of assigned tasks and ensure compliance with quality standards and SLAs
• Suggest process improvements and assist internal partners in driving them to completion
• Maintain accurate records by updating trackers with completed work
• Support pilots in establishing and setting up new customer-focused programs
• Escalate potential SLA or quality issues to the manager or SME in a timely manner
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)

Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience
