Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Generate and issue invoices for services rendered.
- Regularly update Google Sheets related to AR, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Bank and credit card monthly reconciliations.
- Review and process employees’ expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Record all transactions and expenses in QuickBooks Online.
- Verify receipts, check for completeness, and ensure proper recording of taxes.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Perform accounts payable functions as needed which include purchase orders, bill creation, and bill payments.
- Assist in month-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Provide clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding billing and financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, and Google Sheets).
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
