NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to handle a dedicated distribution route within our established Merillville operation. Your Mission

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
• Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.

Route Details & Schedule

This is an opening for a driver to take over a vacated route.

• Pay Structure: Route Pay.
• Schedule: 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
• Start/End Time: 12:00 AM (Midnight) Start, typically completing by 6:00 AM.
• Required Vehicle: Minivan or larger.
• Weekly Mileage: Approximately 600 miles.
• Daily Stops: Averages 5 stops daily.
• Geographical Area: Based out of Merillville, covering Chicago, IL and Westmont, IL.
• Sorting: None required.

Requirements

Vehicle Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a Minivan or larger.
• The vehicle must be 2016 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.
