Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to clients.
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual client situations.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance therapeutic skills.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
- Current and valid LMFT license in the state of practice.
- At least two years of experience working in a therapeutic setting with families and couples.
- Strong understanding of family systems theory and therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in practice.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software.
