Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to legal staff including attorneys and paralegals.
  • Manage office correspondence including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  • Organize and maintain client files and documentation in accordance with firm protocols.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and appointments for legal staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and case materials.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring that the office runs smoothly.
  • Perform data entry and update case management systems as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a law firm or legal setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with technology.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and legal staff.
