Description
The Creative Project Manager supports the day-to-day execution of ecommerce photo production by ensuring projects move efficiently from planning through delivery. This role partners closely with Production, Post, and the Client to manage schedules, maintain asset quality, track deliverables, support billing, and provide operational visibility across accounts.
The ideal candidate is extremely organized, detail oriented & has experience in project management and data strong analytical skills. This role is based onsite in our studios in Culver City.
Creative Project Manager Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain shoot schedules, production timelines, and deadlines for 1000+ assets per week.
- Support the production team with day-to-day requests and coordination needs.
- Ensure deliverables are properly scoped, tracked, and completed on time - flag risks or delays proactively.
- Assist with quality control checks on assets to ensure accuracy, and adherence to client and internal standards.
- Support staffing needs across projects by coordinating with production leadership on resourcing and workload planning
- Manage client billing, ensuring accuracy of timeliness of all invoices.
- Maintain internal finance documents to ensure our team is working with proper budget guidelines.
- Serve as liaison between the internal creative production team and the client - helping to facilitate proper flow of communication and potential escalation of issues, with an ability to prioritize requests from the client.
- Ensure that our internal team has the information and tools needed to execute within each of their roles and the overall direction of the client.
- Pull weekly & monthly key account metrics to share with the client to help provide clarity on scheduling & deliverables.
- Provide operational insights to help production and account leadership understand project health and efficiency.
- Help maintain clear communication and documentation across all stakeholders.
- Seek opportunities to optimize workflows & account efficiency where possible.
- Provide cross coverage support to Production & Sample Management as needed during employee out of office or volume spikes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in creative project management, production coordination, creative operations, or similar roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, with experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially related to schedules, assets, and budget.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to lead internal and client facing meetings.
Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
