Gibbs Oil Company is excited to announce an opportunity for an Assistant Manager position at our convenience store. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven individual who is passionate about customer service and retail management.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the oversight of daily store operations, ensuring high standards in customer service and store cleanliness.
- Supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, managing inventory, and leading a successful sales team.
- Training and developing staff to enhance their skills and ensure they meet company standards.
- Implementing promotional strategies and maintaining product displays to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues to optimize the shopping experience.
- Completing daily paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and manage inventory effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
