Gracenote is the top provider of entertainment information, creating industry-leading databases of TV, movie, and music metadata for entertainment guides, applications and in car entertainment.
We are the leading supplier of TV and Movie entertainment data. We supply data to leading entertainment platforms and devices.
A Senior Data Quality Support I plays a pivotal role in the development of artificial intelligence systems by sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and organizing vast amounts of data. Since the accuracy of this data directly influences the performance of AI models, this professional collaborates closely with AI engineers and data scientists to ensure all specific requirements are met. Their meticulous attention to detail eliminates inconsistencies, making their role essential for building reliable and effective AI solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for identifying, creating, and maintaining a high-quality, trusted "golden set" of data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for critical business decisions or AI model training
Responsible for sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and organizing vast amounts of data that feed into AI models
Proactively identify and source data sets that are critical for the organization and will form the "golden set".
Cleanse, validate, and enrich data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency with organizational standards
Add detailed metadata, annotations, and contextual information to data to improve its discoverability and usability
Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the golden set effectively meets analytical and decision-making needs.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience working with data.
Language proficiency in Portuguese and English.
Experience in MDP would be an advantage.
Exceptional accuracy in handling and processing data.
Ability to examine data for quality, identify gaps, and develop strategies to improve data accuracy and value.
A strong understanding of the domain of the data being curated to provide appropriate context and meaning.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams and communicate data-related concepts clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with data labeling tools and techniques is preferred.A thorough understanding of metadata and its applications. Good understanding of the global content market.
