Design the Future of In-Person Connection We are an AI-powered platform revolutionizing how companies plan corporate events—from high-stakes executive retreats to global conferences. Our software automates the logistics of venue sourcing and vendor negotiations, making it seamless for teams at companies like Google and Amazon to create meaningful moments in real life.
The Role As our Founding Product Designer, you will be the sole guardian of our visual and functional experience. This is a "zero-to-one" opportunity to build our design system, brand identity, and product foundation from the ground up. You’ll sit at the intersection of product and engineering, ensuring that as we scale, our software remains polished, trustworthy, and delightful for enterprise users.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish the Foundation: Own and evolve our entire design system, setting the standard for every designer who joins after you.
- Brand Identity: Build and maintain our visual language, tone, and voice across the product and marketing assets.
- End-to-End Design: Create intuitive, high-fidelity interfaces in Figma that engineering can implement with speed and precision.
- Enable Growth: Design high-impact marketing materials and visual assets that help our sales team close major enterprise deals.
- User Advocacy: Conduct research and usability testing to validate your designs against real customer needs.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with founders and engineers to shape the product roadmap and avoid technical/design debt by building the right foundations early.
Requirements
- Versatile Designer: You have a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design, from initial wireframes to polished, shipped interfaces.
- Figma Expert: You are a master of modern design tools and have experience building or contributing to robust design systems.
- Product Thinker: You don't just make things look pretty; you balance user needs with business goals and understand enterprise scalability.
- Detail-Obsessed: You care deeply about polish and delight, ensuring every interaction feels intentional.
- Proactive Owner: You thrive in fast-paced, "scrappy" environments and want to own the design function from day one.
Bonus Points:
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS or complex enterprise products.
- A background in branding, brand identity, or marketing design.
- Experience working directly with engineers and understanding technical constraints (e.g., Tailwind, Material Design).
- Previous startup "zero-to-one" experience.
Benefits
- Compensation: $100K – $150K base salary + 0.25% – 1.25% equity.
- High-Energy Culture: Join a sister-founded team in San Francisco that moves fast and plays hard. We celebrate wins with everything from "steak-offs" at home to racing Ironman relays.
- Daily Perks: Free daily lunch and dinner provided at our SF office.
- World-Class Offsites: Quarterly team offsites (including trips to destinations like the White Lotus S3 hotel in Thailand) and exclusive access to top-tier venues.
- Wellness & Support: Monthly fitness stipend, comprehensive health insurance, and 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
- Required Recharge: Generous PTO policy with required time off to ensure you stay creative and inspired.
- Direct Impact: High autonomy and direct access to founders, with the power to shape the brand from its earliest stages.
