ABOUT THE ROLE
- Planning & Budgeting: Monitor annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and short- and long-term financial plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Modeling: Create, maintain, and enhance financial models to support multiple business scenarios and strategic initiatives.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and report trends to stakeholders.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to provide data-driven and strategic financial insights.
- Strategic Support & ROI Analysis: Evaluate return on investment for key initiatives and support different teams with strategic recommendations.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain MIS dashboards and management reports to enable real-time performance tracking and informed decision-making.
- Business Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and KPI dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Data Analysis & Insights Generation: Handle large data sets to uncover trends, generate actionable business insights, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data management, reporting, and analysis processes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Planning & Budgeting: Monitoring annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, short and long term financial plans.
- Financial Modeling: Creating, maintaining, and enhancing financial models for various scenarios.
- Performance Analysis: Analyzing actuals vs. budget/forecast, identifying variances, and reporting trends.
- Business Partnering: Collaborating with operations, sales,leadership and Finance teams to provide strategic financial input.
- Strategic Support :Evaluating ROI, and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Reporting: Preparing management reports, dashboards, and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Handling large data sets and preparing reports for generating business insights.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data, reporting, and analysis processes.
Key Skills & Tools -
- Strong command over Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and financial software (ERP/Planning tools- Tally/SAP).
- Financial acumen in accounting, P&L, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Communication & Interpersonal skills to work across departments.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
