Description
As a member of the Managed Services team, the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) Support Consultant will help MCA Connect deliver world-class customer service. A Modern Platform Management Support Consultant will be self-motivated to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Dynamics 365 ERP application. The Support Consultant will own the issue and work with customers, partners, and team members to deliver a resolution. The Finance Support Consultant’s primary focus will be assisting customers with the Financial and Project modules; however, other modules and basic Dynamics 365 ERP functionality is expected. They will also be involved in improving operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement.
In addition to day-to-day issue resolution, the Finance consultant may be involved in larger performance improvement initiatives, implementing new modules, version updates and testing efforts, developing the functional design for customizations and integrations, and upgrade projects.
Location: Remote home-office with travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service and achieve client satisfaction
Monitor and triage new support cases
Troubleshoot issues and deliver high quality solutions
Effectively communicate to customers, partners, team members, and management
Provide support for team members
Develop whitepapers, best practice knowledge base, and articles
Create, develop, and deliver proactive services with the use of new features or common repetitive areas
Maintain effective customer relationships
Log incidents and document communications in CE
Follow established standards & methodologies
Optimize individual utilization
Continue professional education by setting specific annual training goals
Participate in larger project initiatives and lead process area-specific workstreams
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) Financials experience
Minimum of 2 year of Dynamics 365 ERP implementations experience
Minimum of 2 full lifecycle Dynamics 365 ERP implementation (Analysis – Deployment)
Minimum 5 years of industry and/or consulting experience
Certification in Dynamics 365 ERP Financials, or attainment of certification within first 90 days of employment.
Proficient in US GAAP
Working knowledge of industry-specific best practices
Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
Strong customer relationship skills
Ability to establish priorities and work independently
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
Dynamics 365 ERP 2012 experience
Accounting Degree
Certification in at least one other Dynamics 365 ERP module
Microsoft Sure Step Certification
Understanding of IFRS standards
CPA or CMA
