POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is searching for a talented Simultaneous English - Italian Interpreter to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will provide real-time interpretation services during events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring that English and Italian speakers can communicate effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver seamless simultaneous interpretation between English and Italian during various events and professional settings.
• Maintain accuracy and clarity while interpreting, ensuring that messages are conveyed faithfully and without alteration.
• Adhere to best practices in the field of interpretation, including respecting confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
• Continuously improve language and interpretation skills through ongoing training and practice.
• Prepare for interpretation assignments by reviewing relevant subject matter and potential terminology.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in both English and Italian, with exceptional oral and written communication skills in both languages.
• Experience in simultaneous interpretation, preferably in a conference or event setting.
• Strong cultural awareness and understanding of both languages to enhance effective communication.
• Ability to focus and perform under pressure in dynamic environments.
• Relevant certification in interpretation is preferred.
